6 Months ago Today

We saw our beautiful baby girl for the first time. It was magical. All the months & months of waiting, longing, hoping were over. There she was alive beautiful and ours!!! Life as we knew it was offically over.


You'll never know how much we love you sweet girl. How Blessed are we that we get to be your parents.

A Lil Snazziness for ya

Here's the fair Ms. Gracie sportin a snazzy new hat. These were taken on Deliverance/Election Day. I of course had to make sure my baby girl was clean to usher in this momentous occasion. My sweet girl is making some big strides. Looks like we'll have a couple of teeth breaking the surface any day now. Her little gums are swollen and I saw a little split on one side. Also, and this is HUGE, my sweetums took one step today!! She was standing and I said come on, come on and she took a big step forward then she grabbed my arm for the 2nd step. I have all of the video cameras close and at the ready.

The Swinger

Yesterday we took Ms. Gracie to the park and it was her first time on the swings. Her reaction was mixed, she smiled some and look perplexed some. It was a beautiful day though and it was nice to be out. The park had covered area that would be perfect for sweetums birthday party and they even have a room indoors that we could use. Soooo I'd decided to have a small party at home but maybe the park would be better. I'm gonna call today and see what we have to do to use it.
