Happy Easter
We had a lovely Easter today but this morning it was almost disastrous. I was so excited for my sweetie to wear this lovely frock that my mom bought her for Christmas. I got ready to put the dress on her and realized the nutjobs at the store forgot to remove the security tag. OMG I was outraged. I know that the true meaning of Easter is not bunnies and cute frocks but still I wanted her in that dress.
Praise God after a lot of effort Hubby was able to get the tag off. He broke a pair of scissors in the process but he got it off.
Thanks for saving the day daddy, I feel like a princess in my dress.
Auntie Chris thank you soooo much for the purdy, purdy socks.
Our church service was awesome. The spirit of the Lord could be felt throughout.

Pretty! Pretty! Pretty!
I am so happy hubby was able to get the security tag off w/o ink exploding all over the place!!!!
Gracie looks really really cute, all dressed up for easter.
I read your post on my blog..... you know there is still time for Ms. Gracie to dye those eggs!!!! I am sure it is all (the egg dye) at the local walgreens, or CVS!!!
So tell hubby to get moving, so we can see dye plopping all over the place!!!!
Hey Celeste, I talked with Gracie and she said she's waiting on her big cousins Helina & ElShaday to show her how to do it next year. She said she just couldn't bring herself to do it without them;)
AHHHHH!! Tell Gracie that is so sweet!!!
OK!!! then you are hubby are off the hook!!
Next year it is!! We will all color until we can't color no more!!! Her big cousins Helina and El-Shaday will lead the way!!! LOL
ohhh that dress is perfect, I am so glad she was able to wear it. Seriously, I don't know if the world can handle Gracie and Lucy in the same place at the same time, there might be some cosmic explosion from beauty overload.
Pretty dress!
OMG, I know that is a horrible feeling to have a security tag left on an outfit that you really want to wear. I am glad that Gracie was able to wear her dress from Grandma. We know how Grandmother's are about their gifts!
Stacy,
Too funny but sooo true:) LOL
She looked beautiful. And of course the purdy purdy socks are MANDATORY!!!!!
Oh the girls...sugar and spice and EVERYTHING nice!
Gracie looks so pretty! And you guys are a beaiutiful family. Happy Easter!
Ms. Gracie is beautiful as always!
Terri, you are definately a cool-momma, because I would have had a freakin' eye-rolling attack looking at a sensor-tag.
And your hubby is priceless! My DH would have insisted that she wear the dress with the tag on it...or I could hear him saying, "do your craft stuff you know, hot glue a plastic flower on it and let's go." Really, I'm serious.
I'm glad you posted this one---how did she do in church during service?
LoveNotes, she did pretty good. We sat up in the balcony so she wasn't so distracting and also it was Easter sunday so the church was packed to the gills. Hubby had to give her a couple of stern "Gracie" and she piped down.
Love these pictures as usual, she get's prettier with every holiday.
Tell Gracie that her two cousins Kendal & Darien still dye Easter eggs. Darien -- at 15 -- would hunt for them if I'd hide them!
xoxoxo
