After 3 days of screams and tears I've quit the potty training. Gracie was not able to reclaim her glory days of potty success. She refuses to use it now. I'll try again in a couple of months. I feel so defeated. Gracie on the other hand is delighted. This is her face after I told her we're stopping.

LOL.... Gracie is trying to be the boss. Mommy is the boss. But you are right Gracie needs to be ready. Hang in there.
I have to laugh because this reminds me of when I tried to train my first-born at 18 months.
We had great success at first, and then she resisted and I tried to push it. Finally, she said forcefully one day "I no go potty on that potty any MORE". (Complete with little arms crossed and a foot stomp for emphasis!) Keep the faith Terrie; she'll get there!!!
I love the picture of the baby's bum and Gracie's glee at quitting! :-) Potty training has got to be one of the hardest parental tasks before teenagers anyway!
LOL...that is so funny!!
you really matched those pics up so well!!! Gracie is really laughing at you and hubby!!!
it will happen, don't worry!!!
Come on now momma, you can't give up this soon. If I can't give up, you can't give up!
